Our pillow is designed in Boston, Massachusetts and manufactured in China
Our primary manufacturing partner in China (where all of our current inventory were built) is a top-class facility - in addition to Cadia, they also manufacture pillows for some of the top hotel brands in the world, including the Four Seasons, the Radisson, and many others
Our manufacturer is certified with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, one of the world's best-known textile certifications - this means that the products created by the facility have been independently tested and are considered harmless for human health. The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® criteria is updated regularly to take into account new regulations and scientific knowledge.
We recommend fluffing each section of your pillow (the 2 outer shells + the 3 inner pillow layers) upon arrival. While not absolutely necessary, we do find it helpful to then fluff once a week or so to redistribute the inside filling across the pillow.
Both the outer shell and inner support pillows can go in the washer and dryer. We recommend removing the inner support pillows before washing.
in terms of frequency, we recommend washing every 3 months or so. Doing so more frequently can cause the inside fill to clump together and you lose a bit of the comfort factor. In between washes, you can spot clean as often as you would like.
We've partnered with recycling company in South Carolina to recycle an old polyester fill (down alternative) pillow for you, free of charge.
How it works -
We provide you a bag and pre-paid label with your pillow when it ships. You simply put your old pillow in the bag and drop it off at your local USPS.
We'll handle the rest.
The pillows will be deconstructed and run through a series of fiber opening machines. Once opened, the resulting fiber will closely resemble the fiber that is in the fill of the pillows themselves. This will allow for 100% recyclability of the entire pillow. After completing the opening process, this fiber can be used in a number of different applications but will mainly be sourced to non-woven textile manufacturers. Think anything that is either fluffy or composed of randomly aligned fiber strands like you would see in the air filters for your house.
Give your old pillow a new purpose in life.
We can recycle polyester fill (down alternative) pillows only, given the application and methodology. If you are not sure what material your old pillow is, check the tag (if it is still on it).
No - it is free of charge (with your purchase.
